William "Billy" Gilbert

William "Billy" Laverne Gilbert, age 59, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on July 25, 1960 to Donald Earl Gilbert and Maria Louisa Bachicha.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Billy is survived by his sisters, Gloria (brother-in-law, Petronilo), Della, Charlene, Jeanette, and Crestina; aunt, Nina Gomez of Albuquerque; uncle, Clifford Gilbert of Sinclairville, NY; 17 nieces and nephews; 32 great-nieces and great-nephews; many cousins; and many beloved friends.

Billy was a kind, loving and giving person.  He had a special relationship with all his family members and truly encompassed the roles of brother and uncle.  He was happy and had an infectious laugh.  He was part of several families and in life loved by many.  He will truly be missed and was loved by all who knew him.  "Good memories and sweet stories they come into our lives like pennies from Heaven."
