William Phelan

William John Phelan of Littleton, CO passed away tragically on May 15, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Betsy Phelan (Glagola), mother Patricia, sisters Colleen and Katie, and niece Peggy Phelan. He is preceded in death by his father William Phelan. Bill was born and raised in Troy, MI. Bill and Betsy moved to Colorado in 2000 following a career in computer networking and to take advantage of the Rocky Mountain lifestyle. He worked as an Enterprise Solutions Architect for Jeppesen for 16 years, and then at Amazon Web Services. He was an exceptional engineer, known for his intelligence, humility, and candidness. Bill had a passion for skiing and mountain biking. He toured all over the Rocky Mountain Region with friends and family to ski and bike the most extreme terrain the mountains had to offer. Billy died from an undetected heart condition while doing one of the things he loved most, mountain biking.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Pine Valley Ranch Park in Pine, CO on Sunday, July 15 at 11:00 a.m. Please click here for additional details about the event, including the memorial bike ride, and to RSVP for catering purposes.
