William "Bill" H. Haines, age 86, passed away, August 1, 2016, at his home in Aurora Colorado. His death was due to complications from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, (PSP).
Bill was born in Marion, Ohio, on June 25, 1930. He was the son of Harley and Martha Haines and brother to Mervin Haines, Walter Haines, James Haines, Helen Carlisle, Harley Haines, John Haines, Patricia Reichelderfer, Raymond Haines and Susan Lucas.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Mary Haines, his son Patrick Haines and daughter in law Barbara Haines, his daughter Linda (Haines) Lake and son in law Darren Lake. Bill is also survived by his five grandchildren, Kirsten Lake, Ryan Haines, Joshua Lake, Eric Haines and Hannah Haines.
Bill was a veteran of the Korean War, serving as a Naval Sonar Technician. He was an Alumnus of The Ohio State University School of Architecture, class of 1959. Bill spent his career as a university architect, working for, Youngstown State University, Florida State University Systems and Orange Coast Community College District, in southern California.
