William Childress

William Bruce Childress, 60, of White House, TN, passed away on July 7, 2018 at 3:55p.m. William “Billy” was born in Madison, TN to Dorothy Martin Goot and William Templeton Jacobs Jr on June 10, 1958. William served in the United States Army, entering in 1976 and was honorably discharged in 1982. He worked for Metro Water Services for 35 years. He loved to laugh, ride his motorcycle and to enjoy good company with close friends and family. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy and he loved them well.
Survived by his three children; Christy (Phillip) Marlin, Shannon Childress (Dylan Donoho) and Travis Childress; his three grandchildren Graham Marlin, Alivia Marlin and Asher Donoho; his loving mother Dorothy Goot; his two sisters Nora Jacobs and Michelle Smith. He was preceded in death by his father, William T. Jacobs Jr.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on July 14, 2018 at 10:30a.m. at the Church at Indian Lake. 1004 Drakes Creek Road, Hendersonville, TN 37075
