W. Donald Brown, 83, of Highlands Ranch CO, entered into eternal life on September 12, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley of 64 years; daughters Donette (Tony) Lercara, Cindy Miller (Dan), son Kurt Brown along with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Donald entered into life October 1937 in Hays, Kansas. He and Shirley married in August 1957 and moved to Pueblo, Colorado in 1960 where they lived for 39 years, they then ventured north to Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Donald was proud of his career working for King Soopers which he did for 38 years. After retirement he was able to dedicate more of his time to his love of wood working. He was a skilled woodworker, and loved working with his hands and building beautiful furniture for his family and friends. Donald was a devout Catholic and was always in the pew for weekly mass. He truly embraced Jesus in his daily life and was always looking for ways to connect and lend a helping hand.
Donald’s favorite pastimes were spending time with his family, playing and watching baseball (the sport he loved the most), dancing with his loving wife Shirley (especially the jitterbug), going to car shows, reading the newspaper and going to his favorite brewery for a beer and food from the food truck. The lives he has touched will never be the same, but they will forever be changed by the amazing man he was.
