Vivian Mae (Brande) Workman, age 78, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2018 in the home of her daughter in Evergreen, CO. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 6th, 1940 to David and Pauline Brande. She was a 1957 graduate of East Rockaway High School and a 1961 graduate of the University of Rochester where she received a BA in General Science. Vivian was an intelligent and modern woman whose professions included industrial spy and computer programmer. She was married to Martin Workman in 1964, they met on a blind date and were happily married until his death in 2002. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Pamela and Rachel, and 6 grandchildren, Dalya, Ari and Marrek Parker, Ruby and Jonah Gayer and Bethany Detloff. Her lifelong passion for learning, humor and her strength and courage throughout her battle with lymphoma are an inspiration, and she will be missed by family and friends. Vivian was a dedicated supporter of "Clothes To Kids of Denver" a non-profit providing free school clothing to preschool-12th grade students from low-income or in-crisis families in a warm, welcoming store-like setting.Donations in Vivian's memory can be made here: https://www.clothestokidsdenver.org/donate/
