Vernon Schrecongost

Vernon E. Schrecongost was born on September 4th, 1943.  He grew up in Maxwell, Lincoln County, Nebraska and resided in Northglenn, Colorado.  Vern passed away on August 18th, 2022, at the age of 78.

He is survived by his sister Virginia Hankes, daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Victor Roybal, daughter Barbi Adcox, his grandchildren Megan, Allison, Joey, Andy, and Zoe, and his great-grandchildren Bentley, Thomas, and Justice.

He was a loving father, a wonderful grandfather, a great friend, and an accomplished man.  He spent most of his life as a truck driver for many of the local trucking companies throughout Denver, Colorado.  In his retirement, he owned a lawn care business with his best friend Percy and enjoyed being outside as often as possible.  He was encouraging, loving, and always thoughtful as can be.
