Vernon Jacobsen

Vernon loved the simple things in life: his family, pets, games of chance and being outdoors. He valued hard work, honesty and education. He was always happy and had a smile and joke for everyone. Vernon made friends with everyone he met. He was a proud veteran of the Air Force.

Vernon Lloyd Jacobsen was the son of Axel and Helga (Bach) Jacobsen. He is survived by his sons Scott Smith and Chris Jacobsen; his daughters Sabrina Jacobsen and Amy Jacobsen; his sisters Joyce Schellpepper and Norma Todd; and his granddaughter Michelle.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Axel and Helga, his brothers and sisters, Harold, Gertrude, Virginia, Raymond, Eugene, Genevieve, Edmond, Merle and Hardy.

Vern was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Due to travel restrictions and current world events - a private family memorial was held on June 30th.
