U Scott Nagel of Denver, "Scott", died at home on November 4th, 2018 after a brief illness at the age of 61 years.
Scott was born June 5, 1957 in Port Hueneme, California - grew up in a US Navy family, traveled to and lived in many parts of the world including Okinawa, Japan. Scott was named for the Navy, with his initials being U.S.N. He studied dance at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and later gained a degree in cosmetology.
Later in life Scott and his partner, Jon, lived on the island of Kauai, Hawaii for almost 5 years where he was a florist and managed the local Singer Sewing Center.
Scott was an artist with talent in many medium, such as: photography & digital art, sewing, block print & painting.
He is survived by his mother, Marion H. Nagel; loving partner of 34 years, Jonathan P. Harris; and brother, Frank Nagel Jr. of Virginia Beach. '
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank R. Nagel.
Memorial Service will be Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Hill Congregational Church UCC, 2600 Leyden St, Denver, CO, with lunch to follow.
Memorial donations in memory of Scott may be made to The Denver Dumb Friends League or your favorite charity.
