Tim was 59 he was a beloved son, wonderful husband, and caring father. Tim left his mother Sonya McDonald, his father John McDonald Sr (deceased), his siblings Chris Hermes, John McDonald Jr, Michael McDonald (deceased) and his brother Joseph McDonald. He leaves his wife Marilyn McDonald of 35 years and his children Daniel McDonald, Amy McDonald, Benjamin McDonald, Jacob McDonald, Jennifer McDonald, and Thomas McDonald. His grandchildren are Kaylee McDonald, Morgan McDonald, Ezekiel Millican, Cami Brocker.
Tim was raised in South Dakota on his parents ranch. They raised animals, he always joke he could birth and animal, raise it then butcher it. His was a journeyman butcher for his family meat market and others. Tim had many degrees in industrial maintenance mechanics.
Tim was a family man, an outdoor sportsman, and a man of faith. He loved talking and being around his children and grandchildren.
Tim fought a long hard battle with cancer for 12 years. He had many rounds of chemo, radiation, lung ablation, surgeries, He was one tough man to go through all of it with a positive attitude. He was in fight mode even after the Doctors said the cancer wasn't responding he still fought until God said it's time to go home..
