Thomas Edward “Ed” Larson 68, died on November 23, 2023 in Broomfield, Colorado. After a brief period of severe illness brought on by many years of medical conditions that he had long struggled with.
Born in Amarillo Texas on June 2, 1955. Ed graduated from Arvada High School in 1973. During his years in junior high and senior high school he participated in swimming, basketball and bowling. And was an avid musician, playing violin in orchestra, trombone in the AHS marching band as well as a natural drummer with Jazz ensemble, and several rock and country bands throughout the early years of his adult life.
He enjoyed traveling, watching sports, cars, music, math, electronics and ALL the new technology that he had to try to be first to try it out!
But most of all spending time with his family, friends who were as close as family and most especially his grandkids, whom he loved with all his heart. He spent much of his spare time in activities with the Mile High Jeep Club, Colorado PT Cruiser Club, & the Motorcycle Club. Cruising the Colorado Rockies was one of his absolute favorite places to be.
Preceded in death by parents Thomas & Opal Larson. Survived by wife Jo, children Anthony (Theresa), Christina (Will Earley), Michelle (Nathan Schade), Micheal (Shannon), Brother Daymond, 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 6, 2024 from 10 – 2pm at Crossroads Community Center 10451 Huron St. Northglenn, CO. 80229.
