Thomas Hohl

Thomas K. Hohl, the son of Richard and Sally Hohl was born on May 20, 1956 in Pottstown, PA and passed away peacefully on October 4, 2013 in Aurora, CO.

Tom's family lived in various towns while following the direction of his dad's ministry. He graduated from Griswold High School and attended Iowa State University for two years and was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. On October 27, 1974 he was united in marriage to Teena Lindburg and to this union Luke and Josh were born. Three months after Luke was born they moved to Aurora, CO where Josh was born four years later.

After moving to Aurora Tom started his career as a drafting technician for Merrick but he decided after 7 years to pursue his true love in real estate. He worked for Century 21 and Moore and Co. but settled into his career with ReMax Unlimited where he enjoyed his worked for 23 years.

Tom enjoyed being a spectator at the majority of Luke and Josh's baseball games from t-ball through high school as well as all of Josh's youth through high school football games. He was also an avid Bronco, Rockies and NASCAR fan. Tom loved to hunt duck, goose and pheasant as well as fish with his good friends and family. Tom also enjoyed camping with the "camping family" and taking in a couple of NASCAR races with friends. He delivered Meals on Wheels to many folks for 7 years. He also loved the trips to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and spending time on the beach there.

Tom was preceded in death by his father-in-law Glendon Lindburg and his niece Keri Hohl.

Survivors include Tom's parents Richard and Sally Hohl of Atlantic, IA, his mother-in-law Evelyn Lindburg of Shenandoah, IA, his wife Teena Hohl, two son's and their spouses, Luke and Charissa Hohl, Josh Hohl and Kristi Skowronski, a grandson Trenten T.J. Hohl all of Aurora, CO, his brother and sister-in-law Lonnie and Joan Hohl of Sioux City, IA, his sisters and brother-in-laws Dawn and Rod Foutch of Missouri Valley, IA, Penny and Mike Ewert of Dearborn, MI, Wendy and Blair Bellis of Warminster, PA, Cindy and Murray Anderson of Forrest City, IA, a brother-in-law and his wife Jay and Shari Lindburg of Shenandoah, IA, 12 nieces and nephews plus other relatives and many great friends.
