Teresa Jenkins

Teresa Jenkins was born October 31, 1958 in Augusta, Georgia to Rosa Lee Marshall Jenkins and the late John Robert Jenkins. She received her education in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated from Mastbaum Vocational High School. She later furthered her education by receiving her license as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Teresa grew up with her six siblings in the city of Philadelphia. She moved to Denver in early 1994 to be closer to her siblings. She worked various jobs throughout her time in Philadelphia and Denver. Teresa loved working with people and she loved to cook. She began her career path in Philadelphia as a Certified Nursing Assistant and later worked at Whitman's Candy Factory. In Denver, Teresa did some catering for many events and for many people. She also worked for the Denver Public Schools.
Teresa loved caring for her children, her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and siblings. Her house was always open to everyone. You would often hear her friends and family passionately refer to her as "Tee".
She was a special mother and a loving grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to everyone she knew.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Her mother, Rosa Lee Jenkins, her children Charles Jenkins, Lisa Scott Philadelphia, Varnell Jenkins, Wendell Butler, Khalil Butler, Marquise Jenkins grandson, Brandon Butler and Brianne Butler. Her grandchildren Geselle, India, Angelina, Anika, Charles, Chasir, Cameisha, Nasir, Wale` and great-grand children Ahmir and Kyheem; her sister Victoria Jenkins New Jersey, brothers, Varnell Jenkins Frances, Robert Jenkins Carole, Andre Jenkins Philadelphia, William Jenkins Peggy, David Jenkins Sr. Vennita and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.
