Tammy Jo (Prior) Myslivy, 62, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 25th, 2022, at her home with her husband by her side. Born April, 12th, 1960 in Akron, OH, the only child of Joann Prior and the late Robert (Bob) Prior, she lived in Ohio and California before moving to Colorado in 1988.
As a young girl growing up in Southern California, Tammy gained a deep love and appreciation for sunshine, the beach, and the ocean.
Tammy's artistic talents often reflected her love of the beach and were included in her beautiful photography, painting, all-occasion cards, and decorating. Tammy also loved cooking and enjoed crafting new recipes, with comfort foods ranking high on her list. She reminded us that french fries and tortilla chips were, indeed, comfort foods! Her home is filled with warm, loving memories.
in 1983, Tammy married her partner and the love of her life, Steven P. Myslivy. Together they raised two amazing sons, both of whom meant the world to Tammy. She was beyond proud of Zac and Matt, and always looked forward to spending time with them.
Tammy treasured her family. She is survived by her mother, Joann Prior of Knoxville, TN, her husband of 39 years, Steven P. Myslivy, of Centennial, CO, her oldest son Zachary S. Myslivy (Ashley) of Castle Rock, CO, and her youngest son, Matthew T. Myslivy of Denver, CO. Tammy is also survived by her precious grandchildren, Delaney and Miles, who brought her an abundance of joy.
A Celebration of Tammy's life is scheduled for the spring. Donation in Tammy's name can be made to the Laguna Ocean Foundation
