Taloah Thorpe

Taloah Thompson Thorpe, 86, of Castle Rock, CO formerly of Evergreen, CO and Oklahoma City, OK went to Heaven Monday, November 4, 2013. She was born to the late Thomas Benjamin Thompson, Jr. and Thelma Flodell Dabney Thompson on August 20, 1927. She was married to William Gene Thorpe and he predeceased her on May 24, 2010. She was also predeceased by her son Samuel Gene Thorpe. She is survived by her brother, Eugene Glenn Thompson; two children, Thomas Thorpe of Ira, TX; Samuel's widow Gloria Velasquez of Highlands Ranch, CO; Terrance Thorpe and his wife Linda of Franktown, CO; seven grandchildren, Jed, Ruby, Elizabeth, Amy, David, Benjamin and Sarah, and four great-grandchildren, Ella, Samson, Noah and Madison. Taloah will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Taloah was so caring and sweet that everyone who met her wanted to be her friend. A memorial service will be held November 16th, 2:30pm at New Hope Presbyterian Church, 2100 Meadows Blvd, Castle Rock, CO 80109, a reception will follow at the church.
