Susan Paddock

Susan Hughes Paddock passed away at home on Monday, January 9, 2017. Susan was surrounded by her family as she lost her two-year battle with Cancer. Susan was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on February 7, 1935 to George and Sally Hughes. Susan married her husband, Charles (Chuck) Ray Paddock on November 18, 1956. She was widowed in 1996. Susan is survived by her three children, Lynn (Rex) Kennedy and Karen (Bruce) Barker, and Douglas (Michelle) Paddock, eight wonderful grandchildren, Grace, Rex C., Grant, Brady, Clare, Caleb, Alexis, and Taylor.

Susan was deeply involved with her church and community. She volunteered in so many roles at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Lakewood, the Jeffco Action Center, Westernaires, and Conmutual Water Board to name a few of her beloved community connections. She believed in a life of service and gave countless hours to others as she lived life with the faith that giving to others was the true path to happiness.

A celebration of Susan's life will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 1:00pm at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church with a reception at the church following the service.
