Steve Patrick Baca, 44, of Denver, CO, died July 10, 2013.
Steve was born May 21, 1969 in Denver, CO to Carlos Gilbert Baca and Rose Marie Baca Valdez.
Steve was raised in North Denver where, as a youngster, he excelled playing baseball and football. Steve loved to fish never missing an opportunity to drop a line in the water. He had a unique style of rigging his line often catching two fish at a time and out-fishing his companions. All who were fortunate enough to meet Steve knew he had a kind heart and a beautiful smile. When talking to him, one always left the conversation feeling better than when it started due to Steve's easy going charm, charisma and great sense of humor. He laughed often and enjoyed making others laugh and smile as well. Steve always made friends and family feel genuinely cared for and loved.
In his later years, Steve suffered from end-stage liver disease and was in constant physical and emotional pain though, through it all, he continued giving that beautiful smile and never complained. Steve is now in the arms of the Lord and his suffering is over. Though Steve is no longer with us, we can keep him alive in our hearts and our memories.
Tight lines Steve.
Steve is preceded in death by his mother Rose Marie Baca Valdez.
He is survived by his father, Carlos Gilbert Baca, his son Devin Madrid and grandchildren, Devin Jr. and Miranda, as well as his sister Dianne Montoya,
and brothers David L. Baca and Carlos D. Baca Gogi plus numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
