Beloved father, grandfather and uncle passed away peacefully on December 25, 2017 at his home in Pecos surrounded by his family. Silviano was born on April 1, 1922 at the ranch in Lower Colonias. Services will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Pecos on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Rosary at 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. and interment to follow at the Cemetery in Lower Colonias. He is preceded in death by his parents Catalino and Tiburcia (Gonzales) Valencia; brothers, Filadelfio (Jean) Valencia, Bartolo (Julia) Valencia, Teodolo (Nancy) Valencia; Amado Tito Valencia and sisters, Librada (Jacobo) Rodriguez, Erlinda (Robert) Lucero, Carlota Valencia, and Virginia (Casimiro) Archuleta; son Epi Valencia. He is survived by his children, Silviano Jr., Ricardo, Santiago, Estevan, Roseanna and Roselyn, grandchildren, Kimberly and Leland. Sister-in-law Corine Ellis, numerous nieces,nephews, cousins and friends. He will be dearly missed by all his family.
