Shirley Hallett

Shirley Virginia Hallett (née Case). Of Castle Rock, CO died on September 2, 2016, at the age of 92 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her loving family when she died. Beloved daughter of George and Marion Case. Preceded in death by her husband Richard F. Hallett. Dearest mother of Jo (Steve) Kwasny, Diana (Robin) Eldridge, Kathy (the late Dave) Rogers, Rick (Kathy), and Tim (Michelle). Special grandma/ NaNa of Scott, Jamie, Mary Ellen, Christine, Dawn, Christina, Michael, Zachary, Makenna, TJ, Chris, Nathan, and Lindsay. Adored Gi Gi of Lillian, Caroline, Mikey, Max and Lela, and one to be born soon. Shirley is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and extended family that counted her as a special member of the family and called her Shirley the Great. She also loved her friends at Bonaventure in Castle Rock, CO. She was strong, wise, and generous. She embraced life and loved all the places she called home - Charlevoix, MI, Lake Orion, MI, Birmingham, MI, and the Denver, CO area. There was no funeral, at her request.
