Sheldon Dewitt

Sheldon W. DeWitt went on to God's promise, March 12, 2014 at his home in Denver. Sheldon was born November 11, 1944 in New Sharon, Iowa; he was 69 years old.

Sheldon is survived by his wife Kathy, his father, Jerrald, stepsons Eric & Steve, daughter-in-law Tammy and his grandchildren, Peter, Cole and Eryn. He is predeceased by his mother, Mary Fields DeWitt.

Working as an independent contractor for more than 20 years, Sheldon loved to work with his hands. He was a big Broncos fan, enjoyed the Colorado Rockies and the occasional trip to Blackhawk. He held a deep and abiding faith in Christ. Sheldon adored his wife, Kathy, and especially loved to dance with her whenever he could.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Highlands United Methodist Church at 32nd & Osceola at 2 pm this Sunday afternoon, March 16th.
