Sharan Kaye Beeson died peacefully at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, Colorado, on July 4, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born in Ekalaka, Montana, on March 16, 1947. Sharan was the fifth of six children born to the late Curtis Dale and Addie Allene (Tucker) growing up in Ft. Lupton where she graduated High School in 1965. Shortly after graduating, she married Jim Beeson and they moved to California. Jim, Sharan and their son, Bobby, lived in Northern and Southern California until moving back to Colorado in 1977.
Soon after the family relocated to Brighton, Sharan joined a woman’s softball team and played third base. Years later, when her children were older, Sharan became employed at the Brighton WalMart where she remained a loyal employee dedicating 31 years of service. Sharan enjoyed reading, putting puzzles together, collecting Precious Moments figurines, outings to Black Hawk with friends and trips to Estes Park with family. Although Sharan always considered Colorado home, she fell in love with New Hampshire and the East Coast when visiting a nephew.
Sharan enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and had a very modest bucket list that included a trip to New York and an opportunity to gaze at the stars. Sharan enjoyed Mexican food with lots of green chile and an occasional margarita. Her favorite flower was a sunflower which is evident from her Facebook profile as well as her home decor where sunflowers were prominent. Sharan was a selfless person who always thought of others and put their needs ahead of her own.
Sharan is survived by her son, Bobby (Lisa) Beeson, daughter, Lea Romero, brother, Gene (Sandy) Jordan, sister-in-law, Ann Jordan, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sharan will be remembered, loved and missed by everyone.
