Sean Barnes McAllister passed away at age 39. He collapsed at his home in Centennial, Colorado last Friday. The Arapahoe County Coroner's office determined Sean died from internal bleeding. Sean was taken from us too early and he will be greatly missed by family and friends. Sean was born on February 11, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Mary Ann Barnes and Robert Thomas McAllister. He is survived by his brother William Barnes McAllister (Megan Waters), 3 Nieces, Ada, Tallulah & Elliott, his sister Joo Marie Barnes McAllister (Nick Medina) & nephew Avyen, his Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Sean grew up in Littleton, Colorado & started playing golf on Sundays with his family at an early age. This sport turned into his passion. He played on Mullen High School's Golf team, earned a golf scholarship to Adams State University and finished playing for the University of Northern Colorado. In 2007, he won the Denver Amateur Champion Golfer award after winning the tournament in a three-way playoff. Throughout the years he continued to play outstanding golf enjoying many tournaments and golfing events. Over the years he worked in the golfing industry in one capacity or another and as a result was very knowledgeable about this sport as well as many others. Sean will be remembered for a lot of things but most of all for his great laugh, big smile, sense of humor, kindness and his deep love of GOLF. We'll miss you Sean!
