Sean Jacob Elbert Hooper (age 29) was tragically called home on November 30, 2016. Sean was among the lucky few able to enter the world with the brilliance of a diamond, the sweetness of a dove and the patience of a saint - from the instant he first opened his eyes he was PURE LOVE. Yet somehow as he grew and matured he was able to become SUPERMAN in the eyes of all he touched. He lived for his friends, family and his beautiful son; Choyce, who was the greatest gift to his Daddy's world! While his life seemed too short to many, those who were touched by him understand that quality of life far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. However, we were fortunate enough for Sean to have left us with assurances along the way.
On November 27th 2012 he writes: "I am thankful for everyone in my life who has made a positive impact . . . pretty much all of you . . . My son and family are my main reasons why I am here . . . Even though Choyce cannot read yet . . . thank you son for all that you have done . . . I would not have made it without the sweet love you have for me . . .I love you son! I love you with all my heart! I love you all . . . thank you for always being there . . . I am always and forever grateful . . ."
We will stand taller and stronger knowing you are watching over us. Sean is survived by his beloved son: Choyce, mother and best friend: Dawn White, father: Scott White, sisters: Shelby and Cpl. Danielle White, grandmother: Dolores Hooper, and a host of cherished aunts, uncles and cousins.
You will be missed, sweet boy, " . . . Nothing gold can stay . . ."
Services will be held Sunday, December 11th at 1 p. m., Horan & McConaty, 1091 South Colorado Blvd in Denver.
