Sean Alexander Church died unexpectedly from complications of Type 1 diabetes on June 3, 2021, in Denver, CO. He was 33. Born in The Woodlands, Texas, Sean graduated from Rolla High School in 2006. He later went on to study communications, film and anthropology at The University of Missouri - Columbia and Kansas City, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree. After moving to Denver, Sean worked for Franklin D. Azar & Associates, as a digital marketing associate.
Sean is survived by his mother, Leslie Claxton, of Fort Worth, formerly of Rolla; and his father, Garth Church of Springfield, MO; his grandmother, Nancy Claxton, of Fort Worth, formerly of Springfield. His aunts and uncles are Cathy Claxton, Nancy Hooper, Sally and Kurt Larson, and Steve Hartstein. Additionally, Sean was loved by his cousins, Justin Schunck, Clayton and Emily Hooper, Thomas Latimer, and Lindsey Hudgins. Sean is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Dr. James Claxton, Lindell Church, and his grandmother, Susan Tinsley.
