Scott Schultz

Scott LeRoy (Buzz) Schultz, 62, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Saint Anthony Hospital from cardiac arrest.

Born September 3, 1957 to Richard and Shirley (Passage) Schultz in Peoria, IL. He grew up in Sparland and graduated from Sparland High School in 1975.

He worked at numerous construction jobs operating heavy equipment and driving trucks. He also ran a cement plant retiring, in October 2019.

He is survived by his love and partner in life for the last 22 years, Elaine Boddy, of Lakewood; his Mother Shirley Schultz of Sparland; sisters Crystal (Geoff) Greenwood of Lacon, Terry Flint of California, Mary Lou Siegfried of Henry and Lora (Ed) Male of Magnolia, brothers, Ed (Carol) Schultz of Sparland and Steve (Chris) Schultz of Henry, plus numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his Father Richard, brother Kenny and niece Shawna.

He attended The Bridge Church at Bear Creek, and was a member of Sons of the American Legion and American Legion Riders Post 178 of Lakewood.

He loved his family, his cats, good music, and riding his motorcycle.

Cremation has been accorded with a Celebration of Life in Lakewood and services and burial in Sparland, to be announced.
