Scott Anthony Berna of Parker, Colorado, born February 6, 1959 passed away on June 2, 2013 after a hard fought battle with melanoma.
Scott, originally from Wisconsin, was an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer/Facilities Manager for most of his life. He leaves behind his loving wife, Ellen, son Danny Winsor, daughter-in-law Katie grandchildren Abby, Will and Isabelle and daughter-in-law Molly Winsor grandchildren Jack and Caroline. He also leaves his mother Phyllis Berna and brother Andy of Wisconsin.
Scott's greatest love, besides his family, was music. He had leads in school musicals as a teenager and always played guitar and performed as lead singer in many rock bands. One of the highlights of his life was performing with his band SpyMonkey a the Ogden theater in Denver just last year. He also loved traveling the world with Ellen.
There will be a reception celebrating his life on June 9, 2013 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Idyllwilde Community Grand Hall, 22008 East Idyllwilde Drive in Parker, Colorado.
Scott had the kindest, most gentle soul. We love our Scotty, our Rock Star!
