Samantha Hemric

The heavenly gates opened on April 20, 2018 to welcome our sweet Samantha; a wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, and friend to many. Samantha, 30, passed away on April 20, 2018 in Denver, CO. Samantha attended Falcon H.S., Falcon, CO and graduated in 2005. Samantha was a stay at home mom to her 2 year old son.

Affectionately known as "Sammie", she was the second of three children in her blended family. She loved to be surrounded by her loving family and her close friends. Sammie had a kind spirit and instantly made those around her feel at ease and drawn to her sweet soul. Her greatest quality was undoubtedly her sense of humor and the ability to bring laughter into any situation. Sammie had a smile that would brighten up a room, even in the most difficult of times battling cancer. She faced cancer with grace, courage, resilience, and dignity.

Samantha was reunited in death with her Grandmother, Ethel Bowers, and her Uncle Terry Hart. Left to treasure a legacy of precious memories are her Husband of 5 years, Donald Hemric; 2 year-old Son, Dean; Parents, Tony and Belinda Hart; Sister, Sara Williams; Brother, David Buckley; Grandparents, Jay and Evelyn Hart, Dave and Diana Androsiezsko, and Stanley Bowers; Sister-in-laws, Jennifer Jackson and Gina Vant, and 7 nieces and 2 nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 5-8pm, at Cappadona Funeral Home, 1020 E. Fillmore St, Colorado Springs, CO. We will play a compilation tribute video starting at 5:15 pm followed by a moment of remembrance by her family and open to others to say a few words. Sammie's favorite flowers are Daisies and Lilies or a re-pottable plant/flower to add to our gardens in her honor.
