Roy Ogden, Sr.

Loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend; Navy veteran 1958-1963, alumni of Colorado Mountain Arsenal, retired from AT&T in 2004. Roy is Survived by his wife of 53 years, Marie Rosalie Ogden, Children, Roy Ogden Jr., Marie G. Tobin and Gary a Ogden, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sisters, Alberta Riedell, Michelle Haizar and Nathalie Murphey. Roy was preceded in death by his mother, Greta Marie Jiminez, son Roy Ogden Jr. 1st, and grandmother, Frances Lopez Cook. Rosary will be held, Thursday, July 19th, 2012 at 7:00pm, Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, July 20th at 11:00am both at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 4900 East Montview Blvd. Friends and family will be received at 2331 South Holly Place in Denver, following the Mass.

Dad was a good man, he was caring, he always made sure to preach respect of my elders and the value of like. Although I didn't always see eye to eye with him as an adolescent, without hid guidance I wouldn't be the person, father and the husband that I am today
