"We are born for wonder, for joy, for hope, for love, to marvel at the
mystery of existence, to be ravished by the beauty of the world, to seek truth
and meaning, to acquire wisdom, and by our treatment of others to
brighten the corner where we are." -Dean Koontz
In loving memory of a deeply caring, strong willed and understanding
woman who was constantly putting others before herself. Rose was a strong
woman who spent a lot of her time in later years relaxing, reading and
playing with her grandchildren. Rose was one of the most supportive people
many of us will have the pleasure to know, she may not have always
agreed, but she was always there with a supportive word.
Rose loved spending time with her grandchildren and could be found
relaxing at home enjoying a good mystery book in hand, reading about
mysteries and constantly challenging her intellect with psychological
thrillers.
Roses grew up on the Cramer homestead in Roxborough which shaped her
to be a strong, determined, and stubborn person. Rose always thought of
Alaska and Colorado as her home and loved time in both places. Rose was
an adventurous person who loved the beauty of the world around and
enjoyed the silent beauty of the wilderness.
Surviving family includes children; Bret Compton and Cole Tjepkes;
daughter in laws, Valerie Geist and Inese Tjepkes; Grandchildren, Jenna
Geist, Jordan Tjepkes and Grant Tjepkes.
We will think of her often with a smile on our faces and think of the impact
she left in each of our lives. We hope that in the after life you are able to
have many more adventures.
"To the well-organized mind death is but the
next great adventure" – JK Rowling
