Ronald Paul Wentz passed away April 8, 2018, in Lakewood, Colorado. He was born September 21, 1937, to Paul Albert and Josephine Emma Variot Wentz. Ronald is survived by his wife Mary Virginia "Ginger" Wentz, née Jordan; sister Joleeta Bishop, née Wentz; sister-in-law Kathleen Marie Hickam, née Jordan; children Gregory Dean Wentz (Christine), Sherri Kathleen Lukens, née Wentz, and Steven Kurt Wentz (Laura); granddaughter Merissa Kathleen Swallow, née Goodman, and grandson Steven Seth Goodman; great-granddaughters Kaylee Jade Swallow and Natalie Kai Goodman; step-grandsons David Ike Goodman (Wang Yan) and John Tut Goodman. After brief service in the U. S. Army, he graduated from Baker University in Baldwin, Kansas, in 1961. Following his education Ron had a 33-year career as Special Agent with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and its predecessor agencies. For over 51 years Ron made his home in Denver, Colorado, where he enjoyed volunteering at the Bear Valley COP Shop, woodworking, and taking advantage of the many outdoor mountain activities, especially "roughing it" in his Sunnybrook 5th wheel trailer during the 5-month summer season in Estes Park, Colorado.
