Ronald Lee Wenaas, was a spirited soul, loved to laugh at every opportunity and spent 38 years of his life laughing with his wife Shirley. They were married since 1976 and helped raise two children as his own. He loved fishing, even on the ice, football, racing and a good joke, whether he was the listener of one or rippling the bellies of others and dirty jokes were among his favorite. Ron was a hard worker on the job and off, always helping family, friends and even strangers, fixing, building, transportation, sticking a giant barbeque skewer in a whole pig, he was there. He leaves behind no one, for he's only gone to visit with others before us and to make preparations for his family and friends to reunite in the future. Ron will be very missed by his wife Shirley Wenaas, children Wendy Howard and Jerrell Howard, grandchildren Alexis and Evan, Ron's siblings Pamela Mize, Kenneth Wenaas and Richard Wenaas, nieces and nephews Michelle Caulder, Kesha Wenaas, Gabe Wenaas, Matthew Wenaas and Michael Caulder and many, many more family, friends and co-workers.
Celebration of life services will be held at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd, Denver 80246 on Monday June 13th at 10:00 AM.
