Ronald Leclair

Ronald Owen LeClair of Capulin, Colorado entered into eternal life on April 26, 2019 in Denver, Colorado surrounded by his family.

Ron was born on September 20, 1940 in Ellenburg Center, New York to Owen and Florence LeClair. He spent many years in the construction industry, first as a contractor in California and later as a Chief Building Official in New Mexico. After retiring, Ron and his wife moved to the small ranch they loved in Capulin, Colorado where Ron enjoyed raising cattle, wood working and walking along the creek.

Ron was pre-deceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Robin of over 26 years; 6 children, Joe LeClair of North Carolina, Tammy Morris (Don) of Fairview, Texas, Jim LeClair (Staci) of Apple Valley, California, Monique LeClair of Sylmar, California, Zach VandeBrake of Tulalosa, New Mexixo, and Levi VandeBrake (Carrie) of Tucson, Arizona; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 5 sisters, Francis, Donna, Arlene, Bonnie, and Linda Jean, all of New York.

At Ron’s request no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
