Ronald William Kruse left this earth on February 24, 2017. He was born on February 16, 1944 in Brazil to missionary parents, the late Rev. Edgar and Louise Kruse. Ron leaves behind a son, John E. Kruse and granddaughter Teylor in Greeley, Colorado, step children Jack, Leslie, and Keith, and siblings Dorothy, Ed, and John. Ron was ever the entrepreneur in continual search of opportunities to express and find form for his creativity and imagination. He was passionately engaged in his employment in the fields of technology, oil field operations, and the media. Ron was raised with a strong faith. Although he battled mental illness and personal struggles throughout his life, he found many moments of happiness and success, and he never surrendered his spirit of generosity or his love of God. He was particularly proud and joyful, even to the last days, when he spoke of his son John and granddaughter Teylor. His passing leaves a void in the hearts and lives of his family and those touched by his generosity and spirit.
The family expresses gratitude to the staff of St. John's Healthcare and Rehabilitation, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who provided loving care for Ron during the last months of his life, and to all who offered unconditional love and support throughout his lifetime.
