Ronald Vincent Cisco, Sr., 80, passed away on November 28, 2022, in Denver, Colorado.
Ronald was born on December 28, 1941, to Ben and Guadalupe Cisco in Boulder, Colorado.
Ronald, a lifelong resident of Denver, had a great rapport with people. He loved telling stories about his childhood in Denver, his siblings, and his family. He married his childhood sweetheart Barbara Peirce in April 1964. He had a strong commitment to the community through his many years of service with the Optimist International. In 1991, he was elected Governor for the Colorado-Wyoming region of Optimists; a role he was very proud of. He retired from the US Postal Service in 1998 after serving as the postmaster of Westminster.
Ronald was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Ricardo Cisco and Buddy Cisco and his sister Renee Baker. He is survived by his wife Barbara, his sons Ronald Jr. and Kyle, his grandchildren Amelia and Ronald III (Trace), his sister Ramona Cordova and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2pm on December 9, 2022, at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to Optimist International, Monaco-South chapter, an organization Ronald felt strongly about.
