Robert Warner

December 10, 1942 — November 18, 2017

Robert Edwin Warner, "Bob"

Robert Edwin Warner, 74, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at his home in Englewood, Colorado. Bob was born December 10, 1942 to Arthur and Vivian (Redmund) Warner in Amery, Wisconsin, the third of 4 boys. He began traveling the country at age 8 with his parents who worked in ministry, and lived in 15 states prior to graduating high school at Aurora Central High School in 1961. Bob met his beautiful bride, Ann Louise (Lawnick), at Calvary Temple Church and they married in Denver, Colorado, in April 1964.

Bob served in the Air National Guard and US Air Force, with one tour abroad in Korea.

Bob had a longstanding career in sales, traveling the country in his small plane selling steel buildings, managing construction, operating his own securities company, managing telecommunications, and finally selling insurance. He spent his free time with family and friends. He loved electronics and the challenge of fixing anything that stopped working! He loved jeeping, camping, fishing, flying, and playing with his grandchildren. He made friends everywhere he went and was genuine in his interest and care for others. He had a contagious smile and a generous caring spirit.

Bob loved the Lord and believed in miracles. "I believe in the healing power of our Lord Jesus. By faith all things are possible." This was his testimony. He valiantly fought three different types of cancer beginning in 2008. He had 8 surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. He defied all odds and was able to travel with family and friends over 15,000 miles in his RV in the last year of his life.

Bob is survived by his wife, Ann; son Andrew (and Elizabeth) Warner of Littleton, CO; daughter Jennifer (and Andrew) Southard of Boise, ID; grandchildren Jackson, Rylan and Finley Warner, Sydney and Sierra Southard; brothers Verl Warner of Grand Junction, CO and Lowell Warner of Tega Cay, SC; and numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother Roger Warner, and granddaughter Taylor Warner.
