ROBERT ALLEN TREASURE, JR
OCTOBER 18, 1948 - MARCH 1, 2023 Pecos

 Bob was born in Fulton, NY. After high school, he traveled across the country. When he returned to upstate NY, he met Karla at a beautiful waterfall. They were deeply in love when they went to Woodstock in August 1969. Forever pictured on the back of the Woodstock album, Bob and Karla were married on January 1, 1970.
They headed west and settled in Pecos, NM. Bob worked at appliance repair and then got into construction. After taking down a very old cabin, Bob learned how to rebuild it, making it solar on Treasure Mountain. He enjoyed building and making things, music, hiking, bowling, driving, riding, parties, and all the children and animals.
In 2008, Bob had a brain tumor surgically removed. He had many problems, but he bravely pushed on in good spirits through exercise, therapies, and everything difficult with Karla by his side.
Bob is survived by his wife Karla, his daughter Robin Treasure and granddaughter Grace in Berkeley, CA, his son Morgan Treasure and grandchildren Gavin and Mica in Pecos, NM, sister Tammie Treasure in Kingman, AZ, and many dear friends. A celebration of Bob's life will be held in the summer on Treasure Mountain.
