Robert Sanchez

Robert “Rob” H. Sanchez Jr., 53, of Albuquerque, NM passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife, children and family on April 28th 2018.  Robert was born on May 18, 1964 to the late Robert & Polly Sanchez in Santa Fe, NM.

Robert is survived by his wife Angela and their children Felicia, husband Toby, Amberley, fiancé Bryan, Adrian and Audri, and their late son Robert “Robby” H. Sanchez III. Mother-in-law Loretta.

He was a proud “pampa” of 5 beautiful grandchildren; Savanna, Keira, Avery, Toby, and Avyanna. Robert came from a large family of loving brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews.

His immediate family included his brothers and their families; late brother Wally Sanchez and wife Mary, Hilario and wife Teresa, John Sanchez and wife Julie, Michael Sanchez and wife Evelyn, daughters Medieja and Serenity.

His sisters and their families include; Mary and husband Chip, daughter Sonya and husband Ben and daughters Destyni and Delayni, Kathy and husband Jerry, son Michael and daughters Theresa and Jessica, Rose and son Jeremy and son Alexander and daughter Lillyanna, Barbara and husband Brian, son Orlando and wife Jen and daughter Aubree, son Lawrence and wife Christen, late sister Dorothy, Michele Griego and husband Manuel, son Christopher, daughter Alexis and son Neeko, and daughter Kayla, sisters Irma, Janie, Linda, Delia.

He was an avid Redskins fan, enjoyed watching his son play baseball, and annual salmon snagging with his family. He enjoyed spending time with his beautiful grandchildren.  He was a natural comedian who loved to tell jokes, enjoy riding his Harley,  good times and making people laugh. Rob didn’t know a stranger. He touched everyone’s heart he met and knew, and also impressed his touch upon numerous homes and businesses throughout New Mexico with his master craftsman talent in tile setting for over 40 years.

The Sanchez family wishes to thank everyone for their support, prayers and love throughout this challenging time. We invite you to celebrate Robert’s life with us. Services will be held May 2nd, at New Beginnings Church, at 3601 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM at 11:00 am, reception to follow.
