Bob believed in non-medical treatment of child and adolescent psychiatric ailments, which eventually separated him from his medical training. Bob searched for holistic methods to treat all social, emotional, physiological, psychological, physical, and spiritual ailments, which took him to several healing destinations across the United States. He found faith in himself and the universe through centering prayer, which he turned to when he needed comfort and guidance.
Outside of Bob’s faith and beliefs, he was a revered and respected soccer and volleyball referee at the high school and collegiate level. Each year, he was on the first court of the 100+ net Colorado Crossroads Volleyball Tournament at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. In addition to the Colorado tournaments, he refereed several other national tournaments throughout the year.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Noelle Bauer (Alex), grand-daughter Daphne, his son Kyle, his mother Barbara, and his brothers Ken, Karl, and Chris.
