Robert John Kline

Robert John Kline, 81, of Centennial, Colorado, left us peacefully on March 24, 2025 surrounded by his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Born on April 14, 1943 in Shakopee, Minnesota, Robert grew up the son of Neil and Marguerite Kline and his sister Karen and brother Richard. He and his family later moved to Clarinda, Iowa. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State, where he played on the golf team.

Robert followed his sister Karen and moved to Colorado where he soon met Marsha Ann Meyer and On April 11, 1970 they were married in Littleton, Colorado. They shared a loving marriage of 55 years, with their children Bobby, Michael and Julie. He was a wonderful grandfather to his 9 grandchildren, Michael, Jacob, Nicholas, Brooke, Neil, Brady, Luke, Dillon and Clara.

Robert was an avid Sailor and member of the Colorado Sail and Yacht Club. He raced his J-22 Wednesday nights at Chatfield Reservoir with Marsha, family and friends. A lifelong sailor, golfer, pilot, car enthusiast and outdoorsman, his smile, stories, laugh and the love for the beautiful Rocky Mountains created memories with family and friends that will forever be cherished.
