On the morning of November 11, 2019, Bob Gann passed from this life into New Life at home surrounded by his wife Martha and family. He was born to Eleanora McConnell Gann and Judson Campbell Gann on July 20, 1931 in Lebanon TN. After graduating Isaac Litton High School, he served our country in the Navy during the Korean War as a Corpsman. Bob had a successful career with Eastern Airlines for 33 years where he worked along side his wife Martha. After retirement he served Sumner County as a District Magistrate. Bob was a proud family man. He was married to his wife, Martha Louise Brown for 35 years, but when asked how long he would reply " not long enough".
He is survived by his daughter Mary Elizabeth Kapral (Greg), son Michael Judson Gann (Pam Horsley). His stepchildren Pamela Martin, Craig Hastings (Penny), Victoria Lovell (Roger), Dodie Hastings (Bobbie Clift). He was blessed with three wonderful grandchildren: Alex Martin, C J Hastings, and Taylor Hastings. Bob is preceded in death by his son David Campbell Gann and stepson Kevin Hastings. Bob and Martha have been devoted members of First United Methodist Church of Hendersonville for 21 years. Bob served as president of the Poe Williams Sunday School Class which he attended every Sunday. Members of the Poe Williams Sunday School class will serve as Honorary Pall Bearers.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, November 14 from 5pm-7pm, and on Friday at 1:00pm at First United Methodist Church of Hendersonville,
217 E Main St. Hendersonville TN 37075. A Celebration of Life will be held at First United Methodist Church Friday, November 15 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please honor Bob by a donation to

. It is a service to the fallen military that was dear to Bob's heart.
