Robert "Bobby" Doran, age 64, of Nashville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.
Bobby was born in Cherry Point, North Carolina to Bernard and Betty Doran, who predeceased him.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Bernard "Barney" Doran Jr.
Bobby is survived by his wife, "the love of his life" as he called her, Lee Anne, of the home and her children, son, Paul Long, (Cassandra) and two granddaughters, Phoebe and Matisse Long; of Melbourne, Australia and her daughter, Meshauna Long of Glenpool, Oklahoma.
Additionally surviving Bobby are one brother, William (Bill) Doran of Vanceboro, North Carolina and 4 sisters, Kathryn Doran Holden (Newton) of Hillsborough, North Carolina; Tina Doran Padlo of Alleghany, New York; Lisa Doran Hall of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Debra Doran Phillips (Todd) of Trumansburg, New York.Bobby's other loves included music and fishing.
His quick wit was beyond compare.
Not only talented as a musician, he was a great photographer as well.
But most of all, we will always remember him as the kindest, gentle giant in our lives.A celebration of Bobby's life will he held at a later date.Should friends desire, the family suggests making a donation to your favorite charity in Bobby's memory.
