Robert Castro

Robert S. Castro, 73, a long life residence and native of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Robert was born on July 2, 1943 to Salvador and Frances Castro.  He enjoyed many activities throughout his life from baseball, to playing in a band, motor racing and the love of the Cowboy’s football.  He loved all his friends and activities he was involved in for many years at the American Legion Post 13 and his favorite past time in the most recent years was following the band Black Pearl.

He is survived by his children, one who preceded him in death son, Anthony Castro.  Daughters Diana Castro, Cecilia Castro and Crystal Castro.  Grand children/great grand children; Michael Barnes, Veronica Castro, Lauren Castro, Erica Ortiz, Lawrenceville Lopez, Josiah Ortiz, Lalaine Chavez, Patience Chavez, Neveah Lopez, Samuel Lopez, Anthony Castro, Davina Barnes, Daniel Barnes, Annalis Barnes, Michael Santino, Marrisa. Preceded in death father, Salvador T. Castro and mother Frances B. Castro.  Robert has six sisters and one brother and spouses. Ted Castro (Deedee); Flora Castro, Stephanie Stone (Kevin); Trini Taylor (Maurice); Virginia Castro, Linda Durgan and Yvette Raynor (Matt) and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 5:00-6:00pm on March 10, 2017 followed by a memorial service at 6:00pm at Carlisle Chapel, 3113 Carlisle NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110
