Rita Greger

Rita Burkholder Greger, 56, died on July 26, 2022 in Denver Colorado. She was born in Macon Mississippi on July 10, 1966.  She married Brian Greger in 1990 and they were later divorced. She is survived by a son, Justin; a brother, Patrick and  her parents Anne and Amos Burkholder.

Her academic achievements included Bethany Christian H. S. , Goshen College, Un. of Science and Arts of OK., and many certificates and awards related to the health care industry.

Rita spent her adult life helping others. Her career choice was the healthcare industry and achievements included Greencroft and other health care facilities in Goshen, Kansas, and her last position as Mobile Medical Equipment Representative at Swedish Medical Center in Denver.

Rita was a warm and loving person who loved life. Her mirth was often expressed by her infectious laugh accompanied by a series of quick hand claps. She loved fine things and enjoyed doing design and art projects in her spare time. Rita was devoted to her family and friends, especially son Justin and her co-workers at Swedish. She was a member of College Mennonite Church. Motto posted in Rita’s kitchen: Sing, Dance, Love, Live, Pray.  A memorial service will take place on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022 at 3pm at College Mennonite Church in Goshen Indiana.
