Beloved husband of Karen, father of Rick (Jeremy), Katie (Jamie) and Celina (Dave); step father of Sarah (Jesse) and Ivan; grandfather of Douglas, Ashlea, Molly, Henry, Riley and Adam. Dearest brother of Lorraine (Ken), Lou (Bernie), Jeanette, Susan (Craig), Barbara (Marvin), Mary (Mike), Mike (Jeanne), Faith (Dennis), Paul, Irene (Bill) and Anita. Much-loved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews, most cherished brother in law of Peggy, Mary (Al) and Jeanine and treasured son in law of Mary. He was proceeded in death by parents Louis and Lucille and daughter Angie.
Rick served our nation in the US Army as a combat infantryman in Viet Nam and was a decorated hero.
His working career began at his family's auto repair business and he excelled as an auto mechanic for more than 50 years, most recently as a long time employee with the Phil Long Ford family of Denver.
Rick loved camping and riding ATV's with family and friends. His true joy was riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and driving his numerous Mustangs and trucks. He was greatly loved by all that knew him. His quick wit, clever sense of humor and generous heart will be deeply missed by all.
Services will be held November 7, 2016 at St. Thomas More Church at noon followed by burial service at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 2:00pm.
