Richard Palo

March 14, 1947 — June 19, 2016

Suddenly, on June 19, 2016 Richard C Palo, Denver, Colorado, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, lost a life-long battle with mental illness. He is survived by many loving, loyal, faithful, friends. He is also survived by daughters, Dawn Sandoval, and Husband Tacho, Michelle Melville, and Husband Dave, sister, Elaine Dougherty, and Husband Harry. Loving nieces, Kim Orifice, Husband Frank, Sharon Saylor, Husband Jeff, Kristen Dummer, Husband Doug, loving great nieces and nephews, and Granddaughter, Madeline Melville. Rich loved cars, camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with friends. He was fiercely proud of his daughters and adored his granddaughter, Maddie. Rich battled many demons and, unfortunately, those those who loved him most. We're deeply saddened by this tragedy but take comfort in the knowledge that he has found the peace he so desperately sought. May God's deep and rich blessing be upon all of us at this sad time.
