Richard Barnes

The family and friends would like to honor the life of Richard “Scott” Barnes who passed away May 2, 2022 at the age of 52,  from his fight with cancer in his home at Nashville, TN.  He is survived by his children, Molly Barnes and Riley Barnes, his mother, Glynda Hopkins, his sister, Tammy Teeter, and Greg Wilkins.

Scott loved his family and friends. You could depend on his support day or night as he would be there for you. He would do anything he could to help his family and friends, and we all knew that. In the last weeks of his life, he talked often about wanting to go home to be with Jesus and see Grandma who had passed in 1985 so even though his death is so hard on the ones left here on earth, we will celebrate not only his life but the fact that he is pain free and happy.

Scottboy, we love you so much and look forward to seeing you again.
