Raymond Grundy

Raymond Alexander Grundy, 70, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Denver Hospice after an extended illness.

Raymond was the son of the late Alexander Grundy and Catherine Barrett, and was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA.

He joined the Air Force and served in the Viet Nam War. He ended in his armed services commitment at Lowry Air Force Base, Denver, CO.

After serving with the Air Force, Raymond stayed in the Denver area and worked for the telephone company (Mountain Bell/US West/Qwest) for 35 years. He retired in 2007.

He leaves his wife Joann, daughter, Courtney Clark (Ben), step-daughters, Carrie Salazar and Christine (Sean) Rutt, six grandchildren, Madysen and Marcos Salazar, Julian and Arian Clark, Allison and Caitlyn Rutt and his sister Cheryl Waters (Eric) and nephews, Stephen and Michael, and many close friends.

At the request of Raymond, he was cremated and no funeral service or memorial event will be held.
