Randolph Clayton Miller, 81, of Parker, passed away on February 12, 2019 in Castle Rock, CO.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 at the Church of Latter-Day Saints, 20850 East Mainstreet in Parker, CO with bishop Alan Douglas of the Parker ward. Luncheon will follow the services. Arrangements are by Cremation Society of Colorado.
Randy was born in Kalamazoo, MI to Joseph & Pauline Miller on 9/29/37. He attended school at Kalamazoo High School and graduated in 1955 as valedictorian of his class. After high-school he went into the Navy Reserves for 2 years and then decided to follow his dream in music. He was married and had three children, Sherrie, Lisa and Randy Jr.
He played guitar with several successful bands traveling around the USA, he had a successful local band called the "The Denver Affair" in which they recorded an album. He was well-known in the music industry and very loved by many people who followed his group.
In 1989, he married Mary Lee Cable on June 11, 1989 in Florida and they were married for 31 years.
Randy is preceded in death by his son Randy Miller Jr., his mother Pauline and father Joseph.
Randy is survived by his wife of 31 years Mary L. Miller, his children Sherrie and Claude Smith, Lisa & Mike Laap and 5 step-children Tony & Sandy Coleman, Larry & Grace Coleman, Michelle Engelbrecht, Robyn & Chuck Vigorito and Jason & Mary Toteve. Randy had a total of 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to The Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
