God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to me." And now on angel wings you soar...free.

Randolph Gomez, 64, of Pueblo Colorado passed away on December 17th 2016 in Denver Colorado at Allison Care Center with his son, daughter and extended family at his bedside throughout his transition.

Randolph, known as Randy will be cremated and honored by his family privately.

Randy was born in Manhattan, New York to Norma Martin and Ezekiel Oscar Gomez on December 23, 1951. He was one of 8 children. He held a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a private pilot's license and worked in various vocations as a computer systems analyst. Randy was passionate about education, planes, the Beatles, art, poetry, comedy, travel, people, his children and family. He was diagnosed with early onset dementia at age 59 and suffered from Alzheimer's disease preceding his passing.

Randy is survived by his children Darien Gomez, Kimberly and (Ryan) Lendrum, his siblings Carole(Al) Baldrich, Ricky (Pat) Carlo, Corinne (Henry) Kulak, Roger (Diane) Gomez, Rodney (Debbie) Gomez and Russel Gomez; (He joins his oldest brother Ronald in Heaven) his grandchildren, Amanda Gomez, Aliyah Gomez, Riley Watson, Darien Gomez Jr., Roman Gomez, Cruz Lendrum, Chase Lendrum, and several other family and friends.

The children of Randy wish to extend their sincere thanks to the care takers and staff of Allison Care Center, Halcyon Hospice Team, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends of Randy, Darien and Kimberly.

"May your soul rest in peace and your journey continue in to the light with the blessings of all those who love you always and dearly. You are forever in our hearts and have forever impressed upon us the beauty, strength, courage, passion and fragility of life."
