Ralph Cortez

Ralph Manuel Cortez Jr, 57, passed away at home on January 17, 2018. Ralph was born in Fontana, California to Rafael Cortez and Betty Bevard, nee Avalos. He was raised in San Bernadino, California. Ralph held various jobs while trying to find something he truly enjoyed, and finally found his calling of being an electrician. He enjoyed working and loved who he worked for. Ralph's boss Gene Carner become more then just an employer to him - he was his mentor and true friend. When he wasn't working Ralph would enjoy the scenery that Colorado has to offer and hang out with family and friends.

Ralph is preceded in death by his brother the late Jack Cortez. He is survived by his parents Rafael Manuel Cortez and Betty Esther Bevard; his spouse Valerie Moore; children Monica Duran and Nicole Padilla; step-children Paige, Austin, Rhianna and Maddox Moore; siblings Mary Cortez, Diane Suacedo, and Candy Nelson; grandchildren Dazean Demery, RJ Salazar, Joey Salazar-Duran; and many more family and friends. Funeral Services for Ralph will be held at 2pm, on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Horan & MCConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.
